At Adcote we achieve consistently high academic results but the Education is certainly not limited to the classroom. We aim for our curriculum to develop confident individuals who are independent thinkers with a love of learning.

As a school, we do not believe in a one-dimensional hunt for academic success. Instead, Adcote pupils are assisted in developing increasingly independent study habits and to take more personal responsibility for their own work. The emphasis for the school is on the all-round education of the girls. We recognise the importance of experiencing a wide range of activities and opportunities in order for girls to develop as rounded, confident individuals. We want to develop and build enthusiasm, confidence, good manners with an emphasis on smart appearance. Adcote is a thriving community built on all-round success.

All pupils are encouraged to take part in sport regardless of ability or age and activities are varied from astronomy and cookery to sports such as hockey, netball and gymnastics. The girls are also encouraged to participate in The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Combined Cadet Force and Rotary Interact Club. We offer numerous and varied activities as befits a true boarding school. On weekends our boarders have an extensive choice of activities and trips.

It is the educational process that the girls go through at Adcote that helps and encourages them to do the best they can. Our school consists of exciting teaching and working and playing hard in a positive environment with like-minded contemporaries.
