Adcote School is holding a Sixth Form Taster Day to give prospective and present pupils a flavour of subjects on offer at the all-girls school.

Visitors to the school, along with current Year 11s, will be able to trial a range of 30 minute A Level course subjects, giving them an insight into course content and structure as it is delivered in the classroom.

Chris Farmer, Activities Co-ordinator and Nicola Bignell, Head of Sixth Form, will be on hand all day on November 15, to offer advice about life in the sixth form and the many different extra-curricular activities on offer in school.

During the open evening, there will be a ‘Parents’ Survival Guide’ for Year 11 and a Sixth Form Information evening, with a presentation from the headmistress. Parents will also be invited to circulate between different subject teachers at a sixth form subject fair.

Please contact Admissions on (01939) 260202 or email to book your space for the Taster Day on November 15 and to indicate your preferred A Level taster options.

Please use the same contact to indicate that you wish to attend Adcote’s Careers and Higher Education Fair on November 18, which is also open to the public from 2pm at the school in Little Ness, SY42JY
