An Active Association
Adcote Old Girls' Association exists to help those who are former pupils of Adcote to maintain contact with the School and the friends that they made whilst there. It also provides a means of making new contacts with those who were at school before or after them, and those who might live in the same geographical area. We have over 800 active members spread throughout the world. The OGA committee is supported by a team of form representatives who keep in touch with their year, collect news for the magazine and help members to keep in touch with each other.
Membership
Membership of the OGA is open to all who have been pupils at Adcote. Membership is for life; with just one payment made at the time of joining, this entitles members to attend reunions, receive the annual mailing and vote at AGMs.
Directory
The names and addresses of all members of the Association are kept on computer disc. We are registered under the Data Protection Act. Regional directories are available for sale to members. Please click here to complete a form to notify us of any changes of address, telephone number or email.
What We Offer
The Association offers different ways of keeping in touch with old friends and making new ones. We have held reunions at Adcote each year, by kind permission of the Head Teacher. These are usually in the autumn. Recently we have held buffet lunches, sports fixtures against the current pupils and between teams of Old Girls, an evening concert with supper and usually an opportunity to see around the school.
In addition to the main reunion other form reunions take place around the country, in homes and other convenient meeting places.
All members of the Association receive an annual mailing, usually at the beginning of September. This includes a bulletin with up to date news of events, etc.
