Performing Arts BTEC at Adcote
Monday, 09 November 2009 21:19

In addition to the GCSE and A-level drama courses, Adcote will be one of the few centres where students can do the BTEC National Diploma instead of or alongside the existing drama qualifications. "One of the the advantages of doing the BTEC at Adcote is that we are able to fit the optional subjects to suit the individual interests," says Danny Davies who will be teaching the subject. "For instance one student may want to concentrate on stage and TV acting whilst another might want to specialise on the backstage work and a third might be interested in writing and directing." There is no written examination and the course has a strong emphasis on developing the practical skills.
