CLARA JUMPS UP TO TAKE NATIONAL TITLE
Monday, 09 November 2009 20:42

Adcote athlete, Clara Edwards, took the National High Jump title at the Independent Schools Association (ISA) 2007 Championships held at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham. Representing the Midlands area against 11 other regional champions, Clara's winning jump of 1.28 metres was only 5cm short of her personal best.

Clara was selected to compete in the ISA National Championships following her qualification as Midlands Champion in June when she succeeded in winning the high jump event ahead of competitors from 16 other schools in the area.
