Adcote School's Head Girl Kasia Zielinska began the new term on a high note, having received an offer of a place from Oxford University over the Christmas break. Kasia, who is currently studying for five A Levels, will read Law at St Anne's College, Oxford.
'The news was the best Christmas present one could wish for.' said Kasia.
Headmaster Gary Wright commented 'I am delighted that Katarzyna has won a coveted place at Oxford University. Katarzyna has an excellent academic record and has been very industrious in her studies. It is also a real tribute to the dedication of our talented 6th Form staff, ably led by Mr Squire. Our sixth form prepares girls for some highly sought after courses at some of the best Universities in the country. For example, last year girls from Adcote went onto Kings College London, Manchester, York and Cardiff amongst others.'
