Adcote Students Excel in GCSE Performance
Tuesday, 24 August 2010 18:33

Further to last week’s excellent ‘A’ Level and AS success, Adcote School is delighted to announce its GCSE results, with an impressive  80% of pupils gaining at least five grades at A*-C. The school is non-selective academically, but prides itself on the tremendous value-added it achieves with pupils across the ability range.

Headmaster Gary Wright commented “Our pupils have worked very hard to achieve these grades and I congratulate them on their efforts. They have managed to achieve these excellent results while devoting so much enthusiasm and energy to the wider life of this busy and successful school: dance, music and drama among so many other things. The girls should feel confident and well prepared academically to embark on their A level courses. “
