Friends of Adcote

APSA2

Adcote has an enthusiastic Parents Association (The Friends of Adcote) which compliments the close knit family atmosphere of the school. Every parent with a daughter at any level at Adcote School (Including Happy Faces Nursery) is automatically a member of the association at no cost.

The committee consists of:-

Treasurer – Anita Roberts
Secretary – Dominique Sullman
Committee Members - Samantha Morgan, Amanda Mullins, Sara Logan, John Blackwell, Rob Sheppard, Mary-Clare Williamson, Clare Turner-Tarr, Kirsten Burrows, Orla Nolan, Tracy Watson.

The friends aim is to bring the schools families together in a wholesome and nurturing spirit in numerous different ways, whilst fundraising to enhance the teaching and pastoral facilities of the school.

Over the last year the Friends of Adcote have funded the new playground markings, purchased cameras for the drama department and sponsored a bonfire event, providing refreshments and entertainment for the girls and their families.

The ever growing friends association help arrange events that happen throughout the year. Any support is welcomed and invited no matter how small. The 'Friends' meet every 6-8 weeks in informal surroundings, refreshment's and snacks are provided to make it a relaxed and inviting environment. Please e-mail us if you wish to come along or simply cannot attend but wish to make suggestions.
