Our new "Enterprise@Adcote" programme for the 6th Form improves students chances of entering their University of choice and provides extra activities for students to enhance their skills
We aim to:
Provide our students with a wealth of opportunities to develop new skills and broaden their experience, relevant examples of which can be included in their University Application Personnel Statement. Thereby improving their chance of obtaining a place on their course of choice when competing against other applicants with similar A Level points or even being offered places on lower points due to the strength of their Personnel Statement.
Present both physical and intellectual challenges, that allows the students the self-esteem and confidence to grow as they face and overcome them. In the process learning how to analyse failures and develop the skills required to rectify them.
Provide opportunities to carry out charity work and raise money forcharities through their own enterprise.
